Some world leaders were unofficially invited to the inauguration of President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky as 112 Ukraine reported citing his adviser Oleksandr Danylyuk.
“The invitations (for the inauguration of the president) took place unofficially. A lot of leaders welcomed Volodymyr Zelensky with the success at the elections so some invitations took place. At the moment, we do not know the date of the inauguration because it is the decision of the Verkhovna Rada; it is a more political decision. As soon as we know the date, we will define the format of the inauguration, who will come and which visits will be the first,” Danylyuk said.
According to him, it is hard to talk about the schedule of events for Volodymyr Zelensky abroad.
“It is possible that we will choose the schedule or there is a particular schedule of the work abroad, in which the president should participate. Particularly, the Normandy format. There are some global meetings in which we will take place,” the adviser said.
He said that the Normandy format meetings, Ukraine-EU summit, conference in Toronto are prioritized.
On April 30, the Central Election Commission announced the results of the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine in 2019. Volodymyr Zelensky wins the presidential run with 73,22% of the votes. Petro Poroshenko got 24,45% of the votes.
