In Ukraine, on Tuesday, February 9, amid the bad weather, the number of flights is delayed at the airports of Boryspil, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro.
Thus, at Kharkiv airport, the flight to Kayseri is delayed. All flights to Ukraine are expected on time.
At Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) the flights to Minsk, Warsaw, Wrocław, Cologne, and Luton departed with delays. Besides, the flights from Zaporizhia, Warsaw, Wrocław, and Luton arrived behind time, while the flight from Cologne is delayed for three hours.
At Dnipropetrovsk International Airport, the flight to Sharm El-Sheikh and two flights to Kyiv are delayed. Besides, the flight from Sharm El-Sheikh to Kyiv is expected behind time.
Boryspil International Airport shows significant delays of the flights that arrive from Dnipro, Odesa, Amsterdam, Hurghada, Prague, and Sharm El-Sheikh. Besides, the flights to Dnipro and Podgorica are delayed.
Currently, it is stated that flights planned for tomorrow will arrive and depart on time.
Earlier, it was stated that on February 8, heavy snowfalls expected all over Ukraine.
Today, snow is expected in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions. In Zakarpattia, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, the west snow with rain will occur with the ice-slick formation on the roads.
Due to the heavy snowfalls, the decision was made to ban the entrance of heavy vehicles to Kyiv and restrict the traffic in a number of regions.
