A car accident of a passenger bus and a service bus of the National Guard of Ukraine took place on the morning of October 5 in Kyiv region. The press service of the Chief Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine in Kyiv region reported this.
The bus following ‘Dymer-Kyiv’ crashed into the bus of the National Guard that was a part of the bus column. One soldier of the National Guard died in the result of the car accident, seven soldiers got injured. Also, one person from the passenger bus suffered.
The law enforcements establish the circumstances of the car accident.
‘The crime scene investigation team works at the place of the accident. They enquire all reasons and the circumstances of the car accident. The proper expert studies will be held. The investigators opened the criminal investigation under part 2, article 286 (Violation of road safety if they led to the death of the suffered or caused the grievous bodily harm)’, the message said.
Military Prosecutor of Darnytsia Garrison of Central Region of Ukraine Mykola Petryshyn claimed to 112 Ukraine that the number of the suffered in the accident can increase.
‘Preliminary four another soldiers requested medical assistance. However, there were more people in the bus. Possibly, there will be more suffered people. At the moment, the driver of the bus got the bodily injury – fracture of both legs. He is hospitalized and gets the medical assistance’, he claimed.
According to Petryshyn, the car accident took place at the part of the Kyiv-Ovruch highway, about 7 a.m. The bus of the National Guard was a part of the bus column consisted of seven vehicles and they moved to Kyiv for insurance of law and order. The passenger bus followed Lyutezh-Kyiv route.
