Sociology: Who Ukrainians want as new Prime Minister

55% of the respondents believe that a person with wide experience of governing the country should hold this post

Ukrainians prefer to see either Yuriy Boyko, the co-chairman of Opposition Platform – For Life, or Yuliya Tymoshenko, the leader of Fatherland party, or the current Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman on the post of the new Head of the Cabinet of Ministers, as the results of the survey carried out on June 12-20 by Rating sociological group showed.

13% of the respondents want Yuriy Boyko to become the Prime Minister, 11% - Yuliya Tymoshenko, and 10% - Volodymyr Groysman.

“At the same time, people in Galychyna and central regions prefer Volodymyr Groysman, East and Donbas – Yuriy Boyko, West, South and central regions with Kyiv – Yuliya Tymoshenko,” Rating group reported.

It was noted that 55% of the respondents believe that a person with wide experience of governing the country should hold this post, 35% of the population expect someone new.

The survey was carried out on June 12-20 by a formal interview, 6000 people over 18 years old were asked. Representativeness error makes no more than 1,3%.
