The main issue in Ukraine which requires immediate solution is a ceasefire in Donbas, as Ukrainian people believe. This is the result of the survey held by “Social monitoring” centre, “Rating” sociological group and Ukrainian Institute of sociological research named after Oleksandr Yaremenko.
88,4% of the Ukrainian citizens consider ceasefire in Donbas the main problem in the country. 88,3% believe that the return of Ukrainian POWs is more important. 84,5% of the population think that prices level and inflation should be resolved first.
Among the least important problems of Ukraine were NATO integration (24,8% believed that it is not one of the priorities), creation of Orthodox Church of Ukraine and Tomos (24,8%), and decommunization (22,1%).
3,000 respondents aged 18 years and above from 24 regions of Ukraine were asked. Standard deviation makes +/-1,8%. The survey was conducted from April 30 till May 10, 2019.
