The slight excess of the pollution level of atmospheric air is spotted in Dnipro, Odesa, Kryvyi Rih, Lviv and Kamianske as the Emergency Service reported.
“The significant growth of the level of the pollution of the air is not observed. The minor excess of the maximum permissible concentrations is observed only in Dnipro, Odesa, Kryvyi Rih, Lviv and Kamianske,” the service noted.
The concentrations of carbon oxide, phenol, formaldehyde, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide and dust, which could be treated as high, are not spotted by the hydrometeorological organizations.
“The anticyclonic weather patterns stay in the territory of Ukraine, which explains the lack of precipitation, light wind, increase of the air temperature from the surface of the earth up to 700-800 height (inversion), lack of vertical mixing of air, thick fog. These factors facilitate the accumulation of pollutants in the surface layer,” the message said.
The Emergency Service stated that the weather patterns do not differ from the similar in previous years so there are no sufficient grounds for concern about the air state in Ukraine.
Earlier the Emergency Service reported that in spite of the thick fog covering Ukraine, there is no considerable growth in the rate of air contamination in Ukraine.
