Slavomyr Novak resigns from post of head of Ukraine's State Road Agency

Novak notes his readiness to help prime minister and the next head of the state body

Head of State Road Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor), Pole Slavomyr Novak filed the letter of resignation to Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk due to the end of his three-year-cadence, as Ukravtodor reported.

“A few weeks ago, due to the end of three-year-cadence, new offer and personal plans, I made a decision to end my work in the position of Head of Ukravtodor,” Novak stated.

He also notes that he is ready to help prime minister and the next head of Ukravtodor.

“I came to Ukraine to implement the European standards in the realities of the Ukrainian road sphere. I was happy to start the changes in the infrastructure of Ukraine and see how the road map changes day by day. Ukraine is in my heart,” Novak said.

Slavomyr Novak became the Acting Head of Ukravtodor in October 2016. He also received the Ukrainian citizenship. Since 2011 until 2013 Novak headed the Transport Ministry of Poland.

Earlier we reported that Serhiy Knyazev made a decision to resign from the post of the head of the National Police of Ukraine. Knyazev was appointed as Head of the National Police of Ukraine in February 2017.
