"The concentration of carbon monoxide, phenol, formaldehyde, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide and dust, which could be considered as high, was not recorded by the observation network of hydrometeorological organizations of Ukraine's State Emergency Service," reads the message.
The rescuers underlined that counter-cyclical weather patterns are now on the territory of the country, which predetermine lack of precipitation and thick fogs, light wind, rise of air temperature from the ground on the height of 700-800 meters. These factors contribute to the accumulation of pollutants in the lower layers of the ground.
"At the same time, the significant increase of pollution in the air is not observed. Minor exceedance of maximum permissible concentrations was observed only in Dnipro, Odesa, Kryvyi Rih, Lviv and Kamiansk," the message says.
Employees of the State Emergency Service said that the situation does not generally differ from those which were recorded in the last years, that is why there were no reasons for worrying about air condition.
