The wounded lawyer of ATO veterans Edmond Saakyan shot on Monday in Dnipro city is now in intensive care and there is a positive dynamics in recovery process. This was reported by the deputy chief doctor of Mechnikova hospital Elena Gavva in her comments for 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“He is now in the intensive care department. His condition is serious, but in the morning there was positive dynamics. He has guards,” Gavva said.
Four attackers are in the hospital: one of them is in a serious condition in intensive care and three are in a state of moderate severity.
As Saakyan said in an interview to 112 Ukraine TV channel, he has 5 gunshot wounds - in the leg and abdomen.
According to the lawyer, the meeting with the attackers took place due to the fact that his brother had "business problems" - the attackers asked to meet, demanded money and appointed a meeting.
At the meeting, 5 people came with Saakyan and about 10 people from the other side. According to the lawyer, during the conversation he saw that opponents had weapons and pretended that he was afraid to move to the car and take a carbine. He says that he turned back, and does not know who shot first.
As it was reported earlier video of shooting in Dnipro city and photos of attackers appeared. The shootout took place in the evening near the restaurant.
