A shootout occurred in Dnipro city on Gagarin Avenue, as a result of which one person was killed and two got wounded, the local Informator agency reports.

The shooting took place at around 20:00. Presumably, they were shooting from Kalashnikov rifles (AK47). The number of attackers is being investigated; at the moment it is assumed that there were two or three of them.

"We saw a white car driving down the avenue down to the center, a man came out and started shooting, there were a lot of shots, continuously for a minute, maybe longer. The shooter shot two men, then got into the car and drove away,” the eyewitness Julia told.

According to the preliminary information, three people got injured and one man died from the injuries he received, two were taken to the Mechnikov hospital.

Criminals disappeared from the scene. One of the rifles was thrown out further along the Gagarin Avenue, near the Nagorka shopping center.

Later, the Interfax-Ukraine agency in the Dnipro region reported that two groups of men quarreled, however, after they failed to reach a compromise, began shooting.
