The law enforcers detained the suspect in the shooting at Laherna Street, Shevchenkivsky when one person died and one more was injured. Andry Kryshchenko, the Head of Department of the National Police in Kyiv exclusively reported this to 112 Ukraine.
'The suspect was detained by the officers of the criminal investigation department of the Kyiv Police. They confiscated a weapon from him and we think that the crime was committed with the help of this weapon. The expert study will be held and then we will able proving it', he said.
According to Kryshchenko, the suspect was born in 1989 and he is from Vinnytsia region. He works in the guarding structure and was earlier judged for the thefts.
At the moment the prosecutors work with him.
Moreover, Kryshchenko reported that the shooting took place in the result of the civil dispute for the stall between two owners. He noted the decisions of the courts towards the right to property contradict each other.
'Both owners hired the private security firms for the guard of this location. We will check all consent documents'.
As we reported earlier the shooting between two private security structures took place at Laherna Street in Shevchenkivsky district of Kyiv. Two people suffered a gunshot wound, one of them died. The police opened the criminal proceeding qualified as the intentional homicide.
