Seven citizens of Ukraine detained in Tbilisi for illegal weapon purchase

Seven Ukrainian citizens were detained, as a result of a special operation in Tbilisi. Channel One Russia in Georgia reported citing the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country. 

It is reported that the detainees are suspected of illegal acquisition and storage of weapons, explosive substances, and explosive devices.

As we reported earlier, five citizens of Ukraine were arrested in Alliance Hotel in Tbilisi 

It is stated that former Georgian serviceman who fought in Ukrainian battalion ‘Donbas’ Luka Chkhetia is among the detainees. His father Sergo Chkhetia told reporters that his son was going to take part in protest action scheduled for December 2 in Tbilisi.
