The state-owned SETAM company has sold 72,000 hectares of seized land since October 2016 for 17.4 million dollars. Ukrinform reported this.

“SETAM state enterprise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on electronic platform OpenMarket sold 1784 lots with the seized land plots for the amount of around 17.4 million dollars,” the message says.

The total area of the seized land plots sold at OpenMarket for more than 3 years is 72,000 hectares.

It is reported that the competition between the bidders shows good results. The company succeeded in earning over 5,1 million dollars in addition to the starting price.

Earlier, Ukrainian parliament considered 1049 amendments to draft law on land market. The bill undergoes a second reading. Earlier, Davyd Arakhamia, chairman of the Servant of the People’s parliamentary faction claimed that the final vote on the land market bill will take place in April 2020.
