Kyiv police have opened the criminal case due to the party organized by MP from Servant of the People party Mykola Tyshchenko at the hotel in Podilsky district of Kyiv as the police reported
“Today at night, the information was posted on the social networks that a lawmaker of the Verkhovna Rada organized a party at the hotel in Podilsky district. The law enforcers responded right away and came to the site to establish the circumstances,” the message said.
Currently, police officers communicate with the management of the establishment, inspect the premises and hold prior investigative actions. The events were put on the United register of pretrial investigations due to the violations of the sanitary rules and norms on the prevention of infectious disease and mass poisoning.
Earlier, mass media reported that MP Tyshchenko organized a lavish party at the hotel on the occasion of the birthday of his wife Alla Baranovska at the height of the lockdown in Kyiv.
According to the video made by one of the guests, the celebration took place at the restaurant of Fairmont Kyiv hotel.
It is noted that according to the quarantine rules in Kyiv, the work of restaurants is banned. The facilities can work at the hotels only in the morning.
As we reported, the lockdown in the Ukrainian capital was prolonged until April 30.
The following restrictions will remain during this period:
- All schools and kindergartens will be closed;
- All public transport will be working only for passengers who carry special passes;
- Foodservice establishments will work in the takeaway and delivery modes;
- Grocery markets will be closed.
