The Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada intends to support the removal of immunity from the People's Deputy from the European Solidarity party, former President Petro Poroshenko, in case of making a submission by the Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka.  First Deputy Chairman of the faction Olexander Kornienko announced this, New Time reports.

"Everyone is motivated (to vote) for removing immunity. All MPs should support this, because this is an honest position, because we refused it (immunity). In fact, this is a technical vote when asked to remove immunity for the purpose of procedural actions. From January 1, 2020, when amendments to the Constitution come into force, such voting will not be needed,” – Kornienko said.
