Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov works on new stories and novels in the Russian jail, as his lawyer Dmitry Dinze reported on Facebook.

“Oleg Sentsov says hello to everyone from the colony. He is ok, his health is normal. He works on new stories and novels,” the lawyer said.

A Ukrainian film director who was sentenced to 20 years in jail in Russia in 2015 for ther alleged terrorist attempt in occupied Crimea, on October 5, 2018 he ended his hunger strike that has lasted for 144 days.

Earlier, mother of the Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov stated that she talks to her son once a month, their conversations last for 20 minutes. 

According to her, the political prisoner mainly asks about his children, their studying and interests. When asked about his health condition, he always replies that everything is fine.

Earlier, a march in support of Ukrainian political prisoners who are illegally detained in the Russian Federation was held in Kyiv.

Besides, it was reported that Edem Bekirov, the gravely ill political prisoner in Crimea suffers from pneumonic fever - another disease in his already tough condition.
