Ukrainian Oleh Sentsov, born in Crimea, was sentenced to 20 years in a Russian prison, following his trial in a military court in Rostov-on-Don. The sentence on suspicion of plotting terrorist acts in Crimea was pronounced in summer 2015. Sentencing Sentsov provoked a stormy reaction within the international community, which strongly condemned the groundless allegation and Russia's actions.

As we reported earlier, Oleh Sentsov sent a letter, in which he said he was being transferred from Irkutsk to Yamal. Later on, this information was confirmed.
