Ex-MP Semen Semenchenko also stated that the information about his arrest was not true

Former MP Semen Semenchenko denies his involvement in a private military company the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) claims he organized. Semenchenko wrote this on his Facebook page.

"The information that I was arrested and suspected is not true. I have always acted in the interests of Ukraine and I reject all accusations of the SBU. Now I am going to the SBU to get the suspicion and give an explanation," Semechenko said.

Earlier, the SBU reported that former MP Semen Semenchenko and "freelance National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) agent" Yevgen Shevchenko have created a private military company (PMC) on the territory of Ukraine. The coordinators, besides them, were 13 more citizens of Ukraine.

The report states that the training of members of the private military company took place at a specially equipped training base in Kyiv region - there was combat training, training in handling weapons, military combat skills. In addition, some members of the military company studied in training centers abroad.
