Suspect in cases on the creation of a private military campaign and attack at the building of 112 Ukraine TV channel, ex-MP Semen Semenchenko stays at cardiac intensive care unit as his wife Natalya Muzyka reported on Facebook.
“The SBU sent Semen Semenchenko to cardiac intensive care unit on weekend. Currently, the lawyer has met with him. I do not know more,” she wrote.
Natalya also underlined that the court session planned for 02:00 p.m., May 17, will take place and her husband will be transferred there from the intensive care unit.
On March 24, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed and stopped the activities of the so-called private military company - a paramilitary armed formation not provided by law. Former MP of Ukraine Semen Semenchenko and National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) "agent" Yevhen Shevchenko are suspected of organizing private military company.
On March 26, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has chosen a measure of restraint for the former MP Semen Semenchenko. The court sent Semenchenko to a pre-trial detention center for 2 months without the right to post bail. Later it was reported that Semenchenko stays in the hospital.
On April 3, Semenchenko was transferred from the hospital to the remand center.
On May 14, the SBU has solved the terrorist act, particularly, the shooting at 112 Ukraine TV channel building committed in July 2019. The pretrial investigation established that the shooting at the building of the TV channel was organized by Semen Semenchenko.
