The so-called “law enforcers” of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic stated that they detained alleged suspects of the assassination attempt on the Head of the terrorist organization Oleksandr Zakharchenko, who died in Donetsk downtown on August 31, as Interfax reports referring to its sources.
“Several people are detained, “the Ukrainian saboteurs” and individuals connected with him, who are suspected of the assassination attempt on the Head of the “republic”,” the news agency cites the source.
According to the sources, Ukrainian saboteurs were allegedly detained driving a car on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue.
The State Security Service of Ukraine hasn't confirmed the information yet, the sources of 112 Ukraine in SBU advised.
Reportedly, an explosion occurred in Separ restaurant in the downtown of Donetsk, as a result, Oleksandr Zakharchenko, head of so-called Donetsk People’s Republic deceased.
