The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has confirmed the ban for entrance to Ukraine for citizen of Belarus Rodion Batulin as RBK-Ukraine reported.
The SBU noted that the relevant decision was made “on the basis of the reasoned data that this person can pose a threat to the national security of Ukraine”.
“Rodion Batulin is known for his far-right views and provocative actions during the protests in Ukraine. During these protests, the attempts of the far-right activists were stopped to provoke clashes with the law enforcers,” the SBU reported.
On August 4, it was reported that deputy of the deceased Vitaliy Shishov, the head of the Belarusian House in Ukraine (BHU), Rodion Batulin, was banned from entering Ukraine.
As it was reported earlier, the leader of the Belarusian house in Ukraine Vitaliy Shishov disappeared on August 2. Later police found hanged Shishov's body in Kyiv's park. The public organization Belarusian House in Ukraine claimed that he was killed as part of a "special operation planned by Belarusian KGB."
