"The SBU has conducted large-scale exercises to neutralize enemy sabotage groups near the northern border with Russia," the statement says.
More than 1,500 people and more than 100 units of equipment, including unmanned aerial vehicles, were involved in the exercises. And the training was carried out in conditions as close as possible to real ones.
"According to the legend of training, a conditional sabotage and reconnaissance group entered the territory of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. They planned to inflict significant economic damage on the state and destabilize the socio-political situation in the border regions of Ukraine. To carry out their task, the "criminals" tried to make "sabotage" at several defense and industrial facilities," the SBU said.
