Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has prohibited American actor Steven Seagal from entering Ukraine for 5 years. This was reported by Apostrophe, referring to the response of SSU.

"Security Service of Ukraine has adopted decision on banning entry of the mentioned person for the period of 5 years under the Law of Ukraine "On Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons" and "On the Basics of National Security of Ukraine"," the message reads.

"The decision to ban entry into Ukraine is taken if there is enough information, received legally, about the fact of publicly dangerous act committed by this person, regardless of the territory where it was perpetrated, which contradicts the interests of ensuring security of Ukrainian State, the prevention, identification and cessation and disclosure of which falls within the competence of SSU," it was noted.
