"On March 22, the second stage of vaccination starts in Ukraine. In addition to mobile teams, 565 vaccination units are added. At the second stage, vaccination of people with an extremely high risk of infection - family doctors is to start. With the arrival of new vaccines, vaccination of social workers, public health workers and people over 80 will also begin (from March 29-30)," he said.
Stepanov noted that in general, within the framework of the second stage of vaccination, it is planned to launch more than 2,500 vaccination points, which will be deployed as the vaccine arrives.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has updated the list of regions of the "red" zone. Sumy region was included in the list.
According to the healthcare body, the level of hospitalizations in Sumy region has been high in the last three days. Also, the number of cases of coronavirus in the region is 24.7%, with the norm of not more than 20%.
It should be noted that today there are eight regions in the "red" quarantine zone: Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy and Chernivtsi regions.
There are still 11 regions in the "orange" zone: Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Luhansk, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions.
