Ukraine’s Prosecutor  General’s Office, Security Service detained deputy head of Azov Civilian Corps Brzhezynsky, aide to the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Ivashtenko and another citizen, who are suspected in extorting about 60,000 USD, from one business, as Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko wrote on Facebook.

Lutsenko noted, that, according to the preliminary investigative results, the perpetrators divided 30,000 USD among themselves.

“In connection to this 13 searches were performed, including one in the house of Troyan, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. The mentioned money couldn’t be found. All three perpetrators were notified about being suspects and the preventive measures were decided upon. The investigation continues to identify all people who received unlawful benefit.
