Guzhva congratulated the colleagues on the Journalist Day.

‘The main gift was presented yesterday by the SBU when it opened the criminal case due to the publishing of the 47 list by Strana’.

He explained which criteria were taken into account by the editor’s office when it took the decision to publish the material – the high societal value is among them.

‘The societal value of the so-called 47 list is certainly high. Moreover, its value was given by the representatives of the authority, SBU and Prosecutor General’s Office announcing the information about it and disclosing the information about some people on the list. They did it in such way that the massive amount of the understatement was left and it was the origin of the different manipulations and doubts in the society’, Guzhva explained.

He also emphasized that the workers of his title cannot be brought to the criminal responsibility as they were not warned on the non-disclosure of the materials of the pre-trial investigation on this case. Also, they cannot be witnesses in this case.

Guzhva also explained the outrage called by the publishing of the list.

‘The composition of this list certainly shows the whole dubiousness of the story about the preparation of the mass murders in Kyiv at the order of the Russian special service propagated by the authorities’.
