The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) interrogated former head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Vasyl Burba in the case of the Wagnerians, Ukrainian news reports citing a source in law enforcement.
The interrogation took place at Burba's request. Investigative actions were carried out on November 19.
"He was interrogated in the case of the Wagnerians," the interlocutor said.
He was interrogated as a witness.
At the same time, according to ex-MP Ihor Mosiychuk, Burba left Ukraine.
The State Border Guard Service told the publication that they did not have such information.
As it was reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the former head of the Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Vasyl Burba offered him to obtain information on where the coronavirus began to spread, steal the vaccine formula and pass this information to Russia or China.
However, the essence of the conflict lies in another case, namely the investigation into the failure of the operation to detain the "Wagnerians". In particular, when the public and journalists tried to find answers to the question of who was to blame for the disruption of the operation, Burba said that on July 23, 2020 he received instructions from President Andriy Yermak to postpone the final stage of the operation to detain Wagner's militants.
