SBU detains entrepreneur suspected of funding ORDLO militants

SBU officers detained the owner of the pharmaceutical manufacturer under suspicion of funding the ORDLO (Separated Districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions) militants, as the SBU press office reports.

It was noted that the enterprise, which is located in Luhansk region, delivered medicines for ORDLO militants in particular. According to SBU information, the enterprise was allocating $8-9 thousand for the militants per month.

“During the authorized search SBU seized the documentation and bank cards from the company’s management team, which confirm the illegal activity,” the message says.

The SBU representatives added that the owner of the enterprise was detained under the article of Ukraine’s Criminal Procedure Code.

The perpetrator was served with charges papers on the commission of a crime provided by the article of the Criminal Code on violation of territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The immediate investigation is being conducted to bring to responsibility the individuals involved in the activity of the enterprise and funding of the terrorist organizations.
