SBU calls Savchenko for questioning on case of detained leader of POW Release Center

Nadiya Savchenko, the non-affiliated MP of Ukraine was called for a questioning on March 13 on the case against Volodymyr Ruban, the leader of Center of POW Release, however, she left the territory of Ukraine today. Yury Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine claimed this as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.

‘The SBU filed MP Savchenko the call for the questioning tomorrow. Today at 4:00 am she left the territory of the country to participate in the international conference in which the participation of the particular MPs is supposed’, Lutsenko said.

The Prosecutor General urged Savchenko to come to the SBU tomorrow.

‘I want to appeal to MP Savchenko – if she is really as brave and honest as she talks, she should be in the SBU tomorrow’, he added.

As we reported Ruban was detained on March 8 at the Ukrainian checkpoint at the demarcation line of Donbas Conflict zone.

It is stated that Ruban is suspected in the illegal handling of arms, preparation of a crime and terrorist action.

Also, Ruban denies all accusations and claims that the happened is the operation where he acted as the driver.

Later the Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv arrested Volodymyr Ruban, the Leader of Center of POW Release 'Officer Corps' for 60 days without a right to the bail.
