Saxony (Germany) intends to open a representative office in Ukraine. This was stated by the representative of the government of Saxony Oliver Schenk during a meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar as the latter wrote about this on his Twitter.
"The representative of the government of Saxony (Germany) Oliver Schenk announced plans to open a representative office in Ukraine. German regions are showing growing interest in our country, interested in developing economic cooperation, interregional ties and tourism," the diplomat wrote.
It is noteworthy that Saxony is one of the federal states of Germany and is located in the east. The capital of Saxony is the city of Dresden.
