MP Nadia Savchenko is suspected in the complicity and organization of the preparation of the coup d’état in Ukraine in the case of Volodymyr Ruban, the Leader of Center of POW release. Anton Herashchenko, the MP and adviser of Interior Ministry claimed this as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.
Answering the journalist’s question on the particular suspicions to Savchenko in Ruban case Herashchenko claimed:
‘She is suspected in the complicity and organization of the preparation of the coup d’état. Savchenko came to the military units during the last year, she held, let’s say, the agitation of the subversive activity’.
Also, according to Herashchenko, if the suspicions toward Savchenko will be confirmed, then Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine will make a decision to deprive her of a title Hero of Ukraine.
‘The title Hero of Ukraine is awarded by the president of Ukraine. If the suspicions that I am talking about will be confirmed, then the president will make a decision to deprive Savchenko of a title Hero of Ukraine’.
On March 12, Yury Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine claimed that Savchenko was called for a questioning on March 13 on the case against Volodymyr Ruban.
Later the spokeswoman of Savchenko reported that Savchenko did not get any notice or invitation for the questioning in the SBU and will pay the official visit to the PACE. Volodymyr Ariev, the Chairman of Ukrainian delegation in the PACE noted that she was absent on the session of the assembly.
Ruban was detained on March 8 at the Ukrainian checkpoint at the demarcation line of Donbas Conflict zone. It is stated that Ruban is suspected in the illegal handling of arms, preparation of a crime and terrorist action. Later the Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv arrested Volodymyr Ruban, the Leader of Center of POW Release 'Officer Corps' for 60 days without a right to the bail.
