Ukraine’s MP Nadiya Savchenko stated, she is amazed by positive changed of Ukraine’s new police. Savchenko said this while talking to journalists near the building of Ukraine’s parliament.

‘I was amazed and inspired by the new police. I approached the officers and saw their faces. Earlier, policemen in Ukraine had a certain specific type of face and looks. These people are different. They embody Maidan and order. They don’t embody chaos, they are very determined’, - Savchenko shared her impression.

Earlier, MP from ‘Batkivshchyna’ party Ivan Krulko informed, that Savchenko will manage national security and defense affairs in Ukraine’s parliament.

On May 25, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin pardoned Nadiya Savchenko, who was previously sentenced by a Russian court to 22 years of prison for allegedly being complicit to the murder of two Russian journalists and illegally crossing Russian border.
