The salary of the teachers will grow by 30% during 2021, as Ukrinform reported citing Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal at “Ukraine 30. Education and Science” Forum.

“This year we will increase the salaries of teachers by 30% but, of course, our goal – is not less than the average payment all over Ukraine. The minimal basis should exist for teachers, for educators,” Shmygal said.

The regulation of the Cabinet of the Ministers of Ukraine provides the gradual increase of salaries of educators until 2023. However, due to the absence of state and local funds for implementation of the regulation, it was stopped until December 31, 2020.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers has announced an increase in salaries of medical workers by 30% in 2021.
