Saakashvili’s supporters protesting near Presidential Administration

A number of protesters were detained

The police have arrested some of the supporters of former Governor of Odesa region and ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili near the building of the Presidential Administration, according to Ukrainian News.

At 18:50, the police started to push the protesters away, towards Bankova street, due to which some clashes occurred and a number of protesters were detained by the police. One of them is a former Donbas conflict soldier, Yuriy Tybenko. 

As of 19:00, there are around 100 Saakashvili’s supporters protesting, but their number is growing.

Now there are more law enforcers securing the building of the Presidential Administration.

As it was reported earlier, Saakashvili was detained by the task force of the Border Guard Service in a restaurant in downtown Kyiv and readmitted to Poland.
