The party Movement of New Forces will participate in the snap parliamentary elections, as the leader of the party and the ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili stated in the video on Facebook.

“When looking at these old politicians once again, at these old parties, at those treaties, at the fact that many of them, regardless of their personal attitude, undermined their reputation even more than they did for a year and a half ago, when they seized and expelled me, we came to the conclusion that we must run for the elections on our own,” he said in the video message.

“We should run for the elections on our own, because we are completely different in terms of ideas, drive and energy," he explained.

According to Saakashvili, it is impossible to compromise, they should organize themselves well and "go forward".

“To support the general wave that came with the election of Volodymyr Zelensky, to generate really great, ideas that will lead Ukraine to make a leap forward. (...) We are gathering in the office and together with you we will make a list, together with you we will run for these elections. I am sure we will win together if we are well organized," the politician said.

According to the ex-president of Georgia, he returned to Ukraine “not to play in political games” or “to pursue the positions”.
