The Prosecutor General's Office (GPU) served Mikheil Saakashvili, the former head of Odesa Region Administration and leader of 'Rukh Novykh Syl' Party with charge papers. Andry Lysenko, the spokesperson of the GPU reported this at Facebook.
'The charge papers were sent to the address of Mikheil Saakashvili. Also, he was put on the wanted list due to the crimes provided by the several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The search is performed by the operational subdivisions of the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine', Lysenko wrote.
Earlier Yury Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine urged Saakashvili to come to the SBU on December 6 for the investigative activities. However, Saakashvili refused to come and offered the law enforcers to come to his camp near the Verkhovna Rada.
