Saakashvili intends to come to Kyiv on September 19
The politician claimed he was coming to “save Kyiv”
Former Georgian president and ex-Odesa governor Mikheil Saakashvili intends to come to Kyiv on September 19, as he said during his speech in Chernivtsi.
“I will visit a few other cities, then we will move to Kyiv. 19th (September) is the day, as far as I heard, somebody told me on the way, though I don’t know, that it’s the day of Archangel Michael – guardian of Kyiv. It’s necessary to save Kyiv urgently! All of us will move to Kyiv and will be there. It will be the beginning,” Saakashvili said.
As it was reported earlier, the former Georgian leader illegally crossed the Ukrainian border via Shegyni checkpoint, breaking the law due to incorrect completion of border crossing procedure. The crowd of at least 60 people, including five MPs, literally carried Saakashvili beyond the checkpoint, getting into a fight with law enforcers. The police and the state security service investigate the incident.
