The first flight of Irish low-cost Ryanair Kyiv (Boryspil) – Berlin (Schonefeld) took off fromn Boryspil International Airport. The press office of the Boryspil airport reported.
Volodymyr Omelyan, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine thanked for the possibility to travel cheaply.
‘The cheapest companies of the world are starting to fly to Ukraine,’ Omelyan said.
According to the information of RBK-Ukraine, the capacity of the plane is up to 190 seats and it took off from Kyiv absolutely full.
As we reported today the administrations of Boryspil and Lviv airports signed the agreements on the start of operation of Irish low-cost Ryanair Company. It is expected that the flights from Kyiv and Lviv will take place in October 2018 and Ryanair will transport around one million passengers, including 40% of the Europeans during the first year of the work.
In particular, planes will take off from Kyiv to Barcelona, Bratislava, Gdańsk, Kraków, London Stansted, Poznań, Stockholm, Vilnius, Warsaw, Wrocław. And from Lviv to Düsseldörp, Kraków, London Stansted, Memmingen, and Warsaw.
