Russia’s FSB, GRU should be recognized as terrorist organizations, - official

The Security Service of Ukraine exposed the number of the crimes of these organizations committed in the territory of Ukraine

The Federal Security Service (FSB) and Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) of the Russian Federation should be recognized as the terrorist organizations as Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Secretary Olexandr Turchynov reported on Facebook.

“The criminal actions provide the grounds to recognize the special services of the Russian Federation, particularly FSB and GRU, as the terrorist organization and Russia as the state, which spread terrorism in the world,” Turchynov said.

He reminded that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine provided evidence of the participation of Russia in the organization of the terrorist actions in the territory of Ukraine.

“According to the provided evidence, the responsibility for the organization of the terror and diversions in the territory of Ukraine is held by FSB Director, General Aleksandr Bortnikov, Head of FSB Counterintelligence Department, General Dmitry Minaev and Head of GRU Vice Admiral Igor Kostyukov,” Turchynov added.

He emphasized that similar crimes of the Russian special services were exposed outside Ukraine, particularly, the use of the toxic substances in the territory of the UK.

As we reported, Lieutenant General of Russia’s FSB Dmitry Minaev is the organizer of the murder of Maksym Shapoval, the officer of Ukraine’s Intelligence Service and Security Service Colonel Oleksandr Kharaberyush.

The car exploded in Solomiansky district of Kyiv in the morning of June 27, 2017. The accident occurred at the intersection of Solomianska and Mekhanizatorov street. The driver died in the car blast. The police opened the criminal investigation upon the article 'Terrorist Attack.'

Later it was reported that the victim is the officer of the Chief Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defense Ministry Maksym Shapoval. The mass media specified that he was the head of the guard service of the former Russian State Duma Denis Voronenkov citing the source in the Ministry of Defense.

On March 31, 2017, Oleksandr Kharaberyush, the SBU Colonel died in the car explosion in Mariupol. The SBU detained the suspect in the murder of Kharaberyush. Suspect Yulia Prasolova admitted that she planted the bomb under the car of the colonel.
