The so-called Border Service of the Federal Security Service in Crimea commented on the attempt to capture Ukrainian rescue boat. It was announced that the boat was taking pictures and video recording of vessels. The entering of Ukrainian vessel into the "Russian territorial waters" near the occupied Crimea was prevented by "border guards".

This was reported by Ria News agency, referring to the press service of Border Service of the Federal Security Service in the region.

The message says that the incident took place on April 23, while Ukraine’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure claims it occurred on April 24.

The commander of patrol boat notified Ukrainian captain by radio that further movement in that course will lead to violation of Russian state border. Boat’s captain answered that he did not trespass the border and was setting a course to Skadovsk port, according to Ria News. "The captain of Ukrainian rescue boat set a mentioned course independently and departed in this direction".

As it was reported earlier, the vessel of the Russian Navy tried to capture the boat of Ukraine’s Marine Rescue Service on April 24. The incident occurred near Skadovsk (Kherson region, off the coast of the Black Sea) as the Ukrainian vessel performed regular drills in this country’s territorial waters.
