Chief Editor of Echo of Moscow radio station Alexey Venediktov stated that Putin had opposition consisting of security forces and it may be an obstacle during prisoners exchange between Ukraine and Russia.

"Despite it seems that if Putin snaps his fingers, everyone will be boarded the plane, but this does not work this way. Because the security forces come and say: well, here are the terrorists. I am speaking conditionally. And it is necessary to understand that it's more important for Putin to have good relations with his security forces than with other presidents," Venediktov said.

Earlier, Alexey Venediktov believed that captured Ukrainian sailors, whom Russia detained in November last year, would not be exchanged, as he said in an interview for Strana.ua.
