Russian law enforcers arrest 60 people in Crimea, including journalist, lawyer

Police took away passports of these people and detained in “E” Center in Simferopol

Officers of Center on Combating Extremism raided the markets of Simferopol and arrested 60 people in the annexed by Russia Crimea. This was reported by the journalist Anton Naumlyuk on his Twitter page.

“Raids in the markets of Simferopol. 60 people arrested, including a journalist and a lawyer who recorded the events,” he noted.

The detained people were taken to the “E” Center building, where there were already several arrested people, reported Radio Svoboda with reference to Naumlyuk.

“Among them is the lawyer Andriy Krysko and journalist Taras Ibragimov, who were recording the raids of the law enforcers in the markets. They were taken passports and now are being detained together with several dozen people,” the message says.

Earlier it was reported that Crimean political prisoner starves himself demanding to send him to Ukraine. Ruslan Zeitullayev, charged with organization of Hizb-Ut Tahrir cell’ in Crimea, stands before trial in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.
