Russian journalist and blogger Arkadiy Babchenko left the territory of Ukraine. The information about it was confirmed by himself on his Facebook.
"If Ukraine chooses the candidate X, we are talking without personalities now, I am talking about the general situation in the country, I will start the "I'm off" process. It is written exactly half a year ago. Right to the day. I said. I did," he wrote.
"All these six months comments below the post were burning. "Babchenko, we chose Zelensky, get out of the country as you promised". Well, here you are. I said. I did," Babchenko added.
Earlier, TV presenter Yevheniy Kiseliov reported about Babchenko's departure in his author program.
"Special thanks to Yevheniy Kiseliov for not staying strong and not saying my home address," Babchenko mentioned.
As we reported earlier, Arkadiy Babchenko is a Russian journalist, war-time correspondent, and writer. He served with the Russian regular army, surviving the combat action in both Chechen wars (the 1990s and 2000). Later, he prepared a number of reports during the armed conflict in South Ossetia in 2008. Since 2012, the Russian government has been prosecuting him for critical reports against the incumbent authority.
Babchenko's "death" was a special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine to disrupt the assassination attempt on behalf of the Russian Federation.
