Russian investigators did not make any decisions on returning the prisoners of war to Ukraine. This was stated by Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova, as RIA-News reports.

Moskalkova denied the Ukrainian Ombudsman's statement that the agreement on the return of Ukrainian prisoners of war has already been achieved.

“I explained how the procedure of negotiations with the Ukrainian side is taking place. From our side, the investigating authorities did not make any decisions yet, at least as far as I know,” Tatyana Moskalkova said.

As it was reported earlier, Ukrainian ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova stated that the agreement on return of Ukrainian POWs back to Ukraine was already reached.

On June 3, the investigation against Ukrainian sailors captured in November 2018 near annexed Crimea was resumed.
