Russian Investigation Committee presses charges against Ukrainian citizen, who allegedly attacked Russian Embassy in Kyiv in March 2016. The press service of Russian Investigation Committee reported this.

“Russian investigators received undeniable proof that on March 6, 2016, Ukrainian citizen Volodymyr Koshovenko took an active part in Kyiv disorders, during which Koshovenko together with other participants attacked the building of Russian Embassy,” the message says.

As it was reported, Ukrainian is suspected in attack on organization protected by the international law (Part 2, Article 360 of Criminal Code of Russian Federation).

Earlier, explosion occurred near the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. The explosion occurred on the Povitroflotsky prospect in Solomyansky district near the Russian Embassy. As a result of the explosion, cobblestone has been damaged. According to the report, no victims have been spotted.
