Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) has detained Crimean Tatar Emil Mukhteremov in the occupied Feodosia. This was reported on Facebook by Zair Smedliayev, the head of Central Electoral Commission of Crimean Tatar, referring to Abdullah Yakubov.

"Together with his friend he left the bank where he was working, they sat in the car when four people ran to the vehicle, opened the driver’s door, presented the FSB ID’s, took him out of the car, and brought him to the station in their "Niva" vehicle," Yakubov informed.

Emil managed to call his friend after a while and inform that he was in FSB’s office in Feodosia. There is no phone connection with Emil right now.

It is also informed that Emil lives in Lenine Raion, Zavetnoe settlement.
