Up to 20 EU states and the USA can expel Russian diplomats due to Skripal's, ex-GRU officer, poisoning, as The Times reported.

As to the news agency, Russian diplomats can be expelled from France, Germany, Poland, Irland, the Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgary, Czech Republic and Denmark, other countries are not mentioned in the list.

It is also informed, that Theresa May, UK Prime Minister, conducted four-hour negotiations with the representatives of France, Germany, Lithuania and Irland. They were thinking over a "firm response" to Skripal's poisoning in Salisbury. The news agency stressed, that the expulsion can start on Monday on March 26.

As we reported earlier, Skripal, ex-GRU officer, was poisoned in British Salisbury on March 4. Later, Theresa May, UK Prime Minister, stated that Russia was responsible for that, and the investigation confirmed the use of Novichok nerve agent, produced in Russia.

Great Britain expelled 23 Russian diplomats from the country as a reaction to the incident in Salisbury. Later, the Europen Union decided to withdraw its ambassador from Russia. Russian Foreign Ministry regards May's accusations on Skripal's case a provocation.
