Russian court extends detention terms for another eight Ukrainian sailors

Lefortovo court in Moscow has extended the arrest period for another eight Ukrainian sailors. The Joint Group for Social Supervision over Constitutional Freedoms in Russia reported that on Twitter.  

The judges prolonged the detention periods for Yuriy Budzylo, Bohdan Nebylystia, Serhiy Chulyba and Yuriy Bezyazychny. They will stay at a remand center till April 24.

Thus, 20 of the 24 detained sailors will remain in remand center till April 24. Those who sustained wounds in the Russian Navy attack will remain there until April 26, because they were arrested two days later than the rest, due to the injuries.

21 Ukrainian sailors have been delivered to Lefortovo remand center in Moscow, three others are in the hospital of Matrosskaya Tishina prison, also in the Russian capital.
