Russian citizen sues Ukraine's Security Service for entry ban

Russian citizen Igor Churchkin filed a lawsuit against Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) concerning entry ban for five years, as the press office of Kyiv District Administrative Court reported.

Igor Churkin asks the court to recognize SBU’s order to ban him from entering Ukraine for five years. He asks the court to oblige SBU to inform Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service on the cancelation of the order.

Court decides on opening a proceeding.

It should be noted that the whole name of the claimant coincides with the name of the Russian businessman known for several financial scandals in Ukraine.

As it was reported, information about Igor Churkin was included in Myrotvorets database. SBU banned him from entering Ukraine for five yeas.
