Russia states it knows nothing about new peace plan for Donbas announced by Ukraine

Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrey Rudenko stated that Russia knows nothing about the plan of peaceful settlement of Donbas Conflict announced by Head of Ukraine’s President Office Andriy Yermak as TASS reported.

“What kind of peace plan? We know nothing about the peace plan offered by France and Germany. It's the first time I heard it,” he said.

Earlier, Spokesperson of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Peskov stated he has no information about the new plan of peaceful settlement of the Donbas Conflict.

Head of Ukraine’s President Office Andriy Yermak stated that plan of peaceful settlement of Donbas Conflict prepared by Ukraine and western partners is ready, but it should be approved by Russia.

Besides, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the preparation of the Normandy Format meeting. However, in case it does not take place, the leader of the state will find another format of the talks with each side.
